Dr. Esra Yener, Owner and Lead Dentist
Dr. Esra Yener leads Anchor Dental and brings a remarkable depth of training to every patient she sees. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Marmara in Istanbul, followed by a PhD in Prosthodontics. After practicing as a prosthodontist, she earned a second dental degree through USC's Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry and completed a Fellowship in Medical Education at Harvard.
For three years, she served as a Senior Tutor and Instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, teaching prosthodontics, implant dentistry, operative dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning. Her clinical expertise spans prosthetic, implant, esthetic, and general dentistry, always paired with the warmth that defines the practice.
Outside the office, Dr. Yener enjoys swimming, reading, calligraphy, and fountain pen collecting, and she lives in the Bay Area with her family.
Dr. Nazgol Zamanian, Associate Dentist
Dr. Naz Zamanian is an associate general dentist who practices alongside Dr. Yener. She earned her first dental degree at Tehran Azad University in Iran before immigrating to the United States, where she graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She was also selected as a fellow in the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program, a reflection of her academic strength and commitment to mentorship.
Her philosophy is simple: excellent dentistry begins with trust, clear communication, and genuine human connection. She takes the time to listen to each patient's concerns and goals so they feel informed and confident every step of the way.
When she isn't practicing, Dr. Zamanian enjoys hiking, traveling with her husband, and reading mystery novels.
Dr. Blake Panter, Associate Dentist
Dr. Blake Panter is a neighborhood native who is proud to care for his own community. He completed his bachelor's degree at UCLA and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCSF.
Dr. Panter focuses on preventive and restorative care, and he is committed to delivering high-quality dentistry with honesty, compassion, and attention to detail. Like the rest of the team, he takes time to listen carefully and explain your options clearly, so you always feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for.
